基督教社会联盟DH reviews each 申请人’s record thoroughly during the admissions process. The admission decision is based on objective data: each 申请人's self-reported academic qualifications on the application 对于一个dmission official 成绩单、 和考试成绩(AP), IB或CLEP). Denials can occur based on self-reported in为mation or after the submission of official 成绩单、 and/or 测试 分数 (AP, IB或CLEP).

If you believe you met the admission requirements based on your self-reported academic in为mation on your admissions application or believe you were denied admission in error, you may 上诉 the admission decision.

Reasons to Submit an 本科 招生 上诉

What to Include in the 本科 招生 上诉 Packet

Per Assembly Bill 670, Section 89030.7, you are allowed one 上诉 per academic term and 必须 be submitted within fifteen days of receipt of the denied admission email. 

All 上诉s should include the following:

  • 上诉 statement explaining the reason 为 the 上诉 (强制)
  • Recent transcript(s) from all institutions attended (强制)
  • General education (GE) certification (if 适用)
  • Test 分数 or exam credit (if 适用)
  • Documentation supporting the 上诉 statement such as medical records, letter from a counselor, legal documentation etc. (如适用)

• The following applies to all 上诉:

    • Letters of recommendation 将 不 be 被认为是.
    • Only one 上诉 may be submitted per semester, 上诉 decisions are 最后.
    • All documents submitted as part of the 上诉 packet 将 不 be returned 到 申请人.
    • Applicants 不 in good standing at their last institution attended are ineligible to 上诉.
    • Failure to routinely review your My基督教社会联盟DH student portal, read email message 发送 by the University, or adhere to 的最后期限s are 不 likely to be viewed by the 招生 上诉 Committee as being extenuating reasons to grant your 上诉.

For the 上诉 committee to render an appropriate decision, the 上诉 packet 必须 be complete. Incomplete packets 将 不 be 被认为是 or returned; 他们 将 be denied and can不 be resubmitted. All decisions by the 上诉s Committee are 最后 and non-可转让.

Missed Application 上诉s

目前, we are no longer accepting 上诉s 为 late applications. This type of 上诉 必须 be submitted within 30 days of the application filing period closing. We encourage you to apply during the next available term.

All 上诉 decisions 将 be made as space becomes available and 将 be reflected on your Campus Account at My.基督教社会联盟DH.edu.You 将 receive a response within 7-14 business days after all 上诉 documents 有 been received. 上诉 decisions 将 be communicated to you via the email account on your admission application. Please make sure you check all spam or junk folders to ensure you do 不 miss this email.

If the 上诉 is approved, you are responsible 为 meeting all 的最后期限s and other obligations that pertain 到 desired admission term. An 上诉 is only 被认为是 once, and the decision rendered is 最后. If any 的最后期限s are missed or the admission requirements are 不 met, keep in mind that an additional 上诉 can不 be submitted 为 the same academic term.
